The announcement included the addition of browser deployable field clients and flexible work templates to Version 6.0 of MobileUP™. Utility Partners' MobileUP Product Manager, Kevin Graham, made the announcement. "Utility Partners has built and continues to enhance MobileUP™ for the electric, natural gas and water utility industry. As part of continual feature rich enhancements, UP clients can now take field processing to multiple field devices and build work types that match their specific requirements," stated Graham. Graham added "These additions will significantly enhance the benefit to Utility Partners' MobileUP customers by increasing their choices." "Utilizing XML and XSL inside of MobileUP will allow the client flexibility with the presentation logic as well as the screen flows. Additionally within the flexible client-designed screens, the user is allowed to apply algorithms to fields for validations within fields or between fields. MobileField MobileField allows the field user to view and capture information related to the work.
